A video showcasing the lavish Lagos residence of the late millionaire Herbert Wigwe has emerged on social media. The captivating footage provides a glimpse into both the interior and exterior of the 20-bedroom mansion, sprawling over 23,000 square meters of land. Constructed by the engineering firm Craneburg, the project took 22 months to complete.
It was revealed that Herbert Wigwe relocated to the property late last year with plans to retire among his collection of luxury homes in Lagos. Tragically, he didn’t get the chance to enjoy his new abode, as he lost his life in a helicopter crash on Friday night, February 9, along with his wife, son, and Abimbola Ogunbanjo, the Group Chairman of the Nigerian Export Group.
The widely circulated video showcases a stunning residence with Hollywood-inspired architecture, boasting state-of-the-art amenities including a gym, clinic, underground parking, swimming pool, and more. The interior is adorned with magnificent artwork, meticulously designed with exceptional craftsmanship.
Unfortunately, Herbert Wigwe didn’t have the opportunity to reside in his dream home for even a year before his untimely demise. He is survived by his three other children. May his soul, along with that of his wife Chizoba and their eldest son, rest in peace.
