Renowned Yoruba actor Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, widely known as Sisi Quadri, has passed away at the age of 44.
Confirmation of his death was provided by several of his peers in the Yoruba film industry.
Actress Abiola Bayo, writing on her verified Instagram handle, expressed her heartfelt condolences, saying, “Sisi Quadri, you will be greatly missed. May your soul rest in perfect peace.”
Another actor, Tunde Yusuf, shared a photo of Sisi Quadri and reflected on the inevitability of Allah’s will, stating, “Everything in the world is according to the will of Allah, from Him we have come and unto Him, we shall return. May God bless and rest your soul, bro.”
It was reported that the actor had been admitted to a private hospital in Osun state five days ago after struggling with hiccups.
Sisi Quadri was renowned for his unforgettable role in the movie “Seniyan Seranko,” which premiered on December 4, 2004.
