Since Nigeria’s victory over Cameroon in the 2023 AFCON second round, Asisat Oshoala noted, the country has faced consecutive defeats. Francis Ngannou’s knockout marks Cameroon’s third loss to Nigeria. In another tweet, Asisat Oshoala suggested that Anthony Joshua employed unique combat tactics to overpower Francis Ngannou, likening his fall to that of a mango tree.
Asisat Oshoala was part of Nigeria’s women’s team that defeated Cameroon in the 2024 Olympics qualifiers a few weeks ago.
