The Kano State Hisbah Board has apprehended another prominent TikToker, Ramlat Princess, over allegations of sharing content on her TikTok page that promotes lesbianism.
The TikToker was arrested on the night of Thursday, February 15, 2024.
This incident follows the recent arrest and detention of another controversial TikToker, Murja Kuna.
The Sharia police confirmed the arrest in a video shared on their official TikTok platform.
Ramlat Princess, recognized for her daring content, had recently uploaded a video endorsing lesbianism, which stirred controversy on social media, particularly in Kano State.
In the video, she boldly proclaimed that her future husband must permit her to engage in relationships with other women.
“I identify as a lesbian. Lesbianism is an integral part of my identity,” she declared in the video.
