Despite being a first-class graduate in Health Education from the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), he couldn’t evade the realities of the NYSC scheme.
The young man revealed that despite the federal government’s provision of N33,000 per month to corps members, he only receives N2,000 monthly from his private Place of Primary Assignment (PPA) in Abuja.
Folarin claims that if he hadn’t planned to work a 9–5 job, he would have cancelled the NYSC program.
Sharing a screenshot of his credit alert, he wrote, “If I post a screenshot of how much I’m paid monthly where my PPA attached me to, this timeline would go bonkers.”
“If not for prospects of being a 9-5 worker, this scheme is highly unnecessary.”
