The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPC) has announced job vacancies across various levels, inviting both fresh graduates and seasoned professionals to apply.
The announcement was made through a post on NNPC’s official X handle on Friday, July 26, 2024.
Applicants must possess qualifications in relevant disciplines from skill pools such as Geosciences, Petroleum Engineering, Well Engineering, General Engineering, Commercial Finance, Information Technology, Legal, and Security.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s Degree in the First Class/Second Class Upper Division, or an HND (Distinction), with or without a completed Master’s Degree.
The company emphasized the importance of submitting applications through its official website to avoid fraudulent schemes.
NNPC clarified that it does not charge any fees for job applications and warned applicants against providing false information, as such actions would result in immediate disqualification and potential prosecution.
Opportunities for Fresh Graduates
For fresh graduates, NNPC is offering positions under the Graduate Trainee program. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Bachelor’s Degree in First Class or Second Class Upper Division, or an HND (Distinction).
- Alternatively, a Bachelor’s Degree in Second Class Lower Division with a completed Master’s Degree, or an HND (Upper Credit) with a completed Master’s Degree.
- Graduation from an accredited institution not earlier than 2019.
- Completion of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program.
- Not more than 28 years of age as of December 31, 2024.
- Possess good communication, computer, and interpersonal skills.

Positions for Experienced Professionals
NNPC is also recruiting experienced professionals for the Supervisory Cadre. These candidates are expected to:
