In her off-campus apartment, Ifeoluwa Adekunle, a 300-level female student at Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, Ondo State, was fatally stabbed by unknown assailants.
The Economics student was discovered in her room over the weekend, prompting concerns among the student community. A source clarified that the incident doesn’t appear to be cult-related, and the police have been notified, though there are concerns about the response time.
The State Police Command’s spokesperson, Funmi Odunlami, confirmed the incident, stating that an investigation has commenced, ruling out cult-related motives. The victim’s body has been taken to the hospital’s morgue.
